Its Christmas Eve Eve people!
Is everyone excited or is it just me?
I'll probably hang out with Ela today, seeing as she wants me to see Yes Man and I want her to see Shakespeare in Love.
Then tonight my brother is coming from out of town and we're going to go to dinner, then come back and dream of sugar plums or something like that, I don't really remember.
Atonement is still coming along, I love McEwan's style of writing. It has a spectacular flow to it.
Go read it.
Now.
Shoo.
Besides that, the Parents will be back soon, and I know they dislike it when I waste my time venting my thoughts to the world, so I better skedaddle.
I probably won't be on Tomorrow, seeing as its Christmas Eve, and everyone will be be in Angry/Panic Mode, and I won't be on tonight because when my Brother comes he takes our Basement for his living quarters, and of course, our computer is down here.
So I'll just say Merry Christmas now, and wish all my family (who I won't be seeing) and my friends (who I'll most likely not be in contact with) and my lovely readers (who I certainly won't be seeing) a very Merry Christmas.
"But I heard him exclaim ere he drove out of sight, Merry Christmas to all, and to all..."
A Dark Knight!
Beatles: We said our goodbyes (on the night before), Love was in your eyes Now today I find, you have changed your mind, Treat me like you did the night before. Were you telling lies (on the night before)?

Sisters
I know there was a reason I was posting, I just can't remember it....
Dang.
I hate it when people forget things, which is quite ironic.
I suppose I could be talking about Christmas, or family or what I'm thinking, but there really is nothing going on.
Besides my headache, but that's Parr for the chorus.
This is why I hate having days off at my school.
I have basically nothing to do, because my friends are all in school, so its all quiet and creepy and all I can do is watch T.V and try to make my way through Atonement (which is a lovely book I might add.)
Its a little better in the summer when I can escape to the park, but in the winter when everything is icy and cold it isn't so pleasant to be outside.
Cleaned the basement today, so now everything smells like Febreeze and that stuff they use in the swiffer wet jets...
I'm watching this freaky movie Sisters right now.
Very Mysterious......
And bizarre.
Possibly scarring.
Margot Kidder is great. She does alot of horror movies.
Like Black Christmas, which is available to watch online for all those with a Netflix account.
I may watch it if I'm not busy later. Its a great movie.
Not really ENLIGHTENING to the holiday season, but a good horror movie none the less.
And believe me, its not nearly as racist as it sounds.
Just kidding, its just about a killer in a sorority house.
Original huh?
You bet.
I'm hungry, I'ma go make lunch.
Have a very White/Black Christmas.
(Not really)
Beatles: Paperback writer, paperback writer. Dear Sir or Madam will you read my book, It took me years to write will you take a look, Based on a novel by a man named Lear, And I need a job, So I want to be a paperback writer, Paperback writer.

Molly Smiles
Okay God, this one was personal.
According to Yahoo, whose information I have always trusted, there has been another death in the gilded cage that is Hollywood.
Brittany Murphy died at 32 yesterday after going into cardiac arrest.
That was a LOW low...
I'm still in shock.
This was even more shocking to me than when Micheal Jackson died, yet I didn't cry like I did when Patrick Swayze died.
I guess when the shock completely wears off it'll come.
But still, she was 32 friggin years old.
She was talented, beautiful, and a good person, and that is not something you find every day.
She starred in one of my favorite movies, Uptown Girls.
In that movie she played Molly, a role which always vaguely reminded me of my older sister, and so in every movie I saw her in afterwards I always thought of her that way.
In a way, she was every ones big sister, in whatever role she played.
I'll always see her as Molly.
And I'll miss her.
And in light of the Christmas season, I send condolences to her family.
But I'm slacking now, when I'm supposed to be working on my papers, so I'll go.
R.I.P Brittany.
You will be missed.

Mission Impossible
Hey, guess what?
Something actually happened in my life.
Amazing right?
Two things actually.
The first is the bad news.
Here goes: My Grandma's Great Dane Lexi, who was one of my favorite animals of all time, died this week. Apparently she contracted a cancer, and there wasn't much more the vets could do about it, so they had to put her down.
I loved Lexi. She was just a really good dog. Very gentle, and very sweet, and you could always pet her and be close to her and she'd be close right back.
She was always a great animal, and I know that it won't be the same at my Grandma's without her.
I'll miss her.
The second bit of news is some stuff from school.
This week was our end of semester, and in my Artistry class, our teacher Genevieve had the bright idea that we should talk about the person to our left and how they've grown as 'both a person and an artist'.
...
Be with me.
So everything was going really well, I talked about Jordan Malm (like Ikea) and then came Bailey's turn to talk about me.
Bailey and I talk to each other and we're friendly to each other, but we don't know each other very well, because she came later in the semester.
So she talked about me, and it was nice, and very short.
Thats when Genevieve askes if anyone has anything to add.
My hand to God, every single person in the room raised their hand.
It was simultaneously lovely and tragic.
So Genevieve gets all flustered and is like "Oh...oh, okay uh...we'll just go in a circle".
And we did go in a circle.
And every single person in the room, even our viscious gay Spencer, is saying nice things about me.
"I love your independance"
"You're so funny"
"I thought you were weird at first, but now you're okay"
"I can't go through a day without your side comments"
Swear to God, all of the things I just mentioned were true.
It was...kinda weird.
But I loved it.
Because thats the way I am.
My goal has been reached.
Everyone in my track likes me.
Mission Impossible has just become possible.
Booyah.
Beatles: I'd rather see you dead, little girl, Than to be with another man. You'd better keep your head, little girl, Or I won't know where I am. You'd better run for your life if you can, little girl, Hide your head in the sand, little girl.

Cold Outside
I wish I could find the assholes that wrote 'Cold Outside', and tell them that they have no idea what cold is...
THIS is cold.
Supposed to get a blizzard tonight, maybe no school tomorrow.
Probably will though.
Pretty busy, got to get back to work.
No current news beside the showcase next Tuesday.
Beatles: Just let me hear some of that rock and roll music Any old way you choose it It's got a back beat, you can't lost it, Any old time you use it It's gotta be rock roll music If you wanna dance with me

A Christmas Story
Its not just for Peter Billingsley anymore.
Now its mine....
This Christmas has now begun to become shrouded in the dark and condescending cloud that looms overhead whenever a new decision is made about specific joyous holidays.
What is the name of this cloud you ask?
Family disappointment.
Every year we celebrate Christmas Eve with my Dads family, and then spend Christmas Day with my Moms family.
And it all works out okay in the end.
But this year....
It turned.
We've decided to spend Christmas alone this year, with just my Mom, my Dad, my Brother, my Sister, the Kid, and my Sisters guy, whom shall be known as Stace.
And, as you can imagine, this is creating a relatively smal- HUGE, problem this Holiday Season.
What with family being intensely disappointed over the absence of family members who are just a puffickly Huh-Yooge part of the holiday.
I'm laughing, you just can't see it...
Unless this is like some bizarre 'When A Stranger Calls' scenario...
Needless to say, I couldn't care less. I like Christmas the way it usually is, but I also want to see what spending Christmas with just my family is like.
Might be fun.
I just kinda wish people would stop buying me stuff, mostly because once they buy it, they like to hang it over your head like an old dead goose.
Example: "I bought your Christmas present today, you should clean the house"
I'd almost be happier not getting anything at all.
Although I do want an Official Red Ryder Carbine-Action Two-Hundred-Shot Range Model Air Rifle...
Because Flick says he saw some Grizzly Bears down by Pulaski's Candy store.
Beatles: They're gonna put me in the movies. They're gonna make a big star out of me. We'll make a film about a man that's sad and lonely, and all I gotta say is act naturally

Typing Alone with Marilyn Monroe
I shall now, for your viewing pleasure, cite the most notorious conspiracy theories, before your very eyes! I will not mention Watergate, because its obvious, Rosewell, because its ongoing, Kennedy, because its obvious, or Princess Diana, because I'm sick of it, she died, it was terrible, case closed.
Conspiracy #1: Mariliyn Monroe
Let me just say this. Why does every person in this country associate the deaths of beautiful women with cocaine? I mean, obviously, it was cocaine that killed Marilyn, but still. But the reason many people believe she was killed was her association to many...powerful political leaders...such as the Kennedys. Most of this is reflected in the Marilyn Tapes, which may or may not exist, and may or may not contain America's most glamorous movie star doing nasty with America's most glamorous president, and other intriguing episodes. And if anyone is offended by that, come on! The Kennedy brothers Jack and Bobby, president and attorney general, were either sleeping with her, or talking dirty on the phone with her, but that doesn't mean that they killed her. But it doesn't mean they didn't, I will admit, MANY people involved in the investigation were acting shady. No conclusion.
Conspiracy Theory #2: Pan Am Flight 103
This conspiracy theory, is one of the most intriguing I've ever heard of. Here's the story: 1988, Pan Am Flight 747 was ripped from the sky by a wad of plastic explosives. Was it just a crazy random happenstance that five CIA agents were on board? Was it also coincidence that another squad of CIA agents showed up at the scene of the accident, and later walked away with a mysterious briefcase belonging to one of the deceased? Or maybe perhaps the half million dollars in cash found on the scene? I. Call. BULLCRAP. This was NOT a random event, and many various cults, satanic worship groups, Libyan terrorists, and the CIA itself, have been considered as the culprits. In my opinion, it was all the CIA, I mean really. Look at this! This was a MASS. MURDER. And to me, the only people that could be responsible, are the CIA. Case Closed.
Conspiracy Theory #3: The Moon Landing of 1969
Uh...yeah, I'd like to point this out to all people who believe this theory. We. Landed. On. The. MOON. Thats about it, we didn't lie, it really happened. Case Closed.
Conspiracy Theory #4: Jesus
I don't even know how to feel about this one. The DaVinci Code is one of my favorite movies, and it has some very interesting theories, but I can't call a conclusion on this one because alot of the facts are obscured, and I won't even go into the entire Priory of Zion, because it is a little far fetched, but I won't draw a complete answer. No Conclusion.
Conspiracy Theory #5: The Jonestown Massacre
This ahs to be one of the most tragic, and most terrifying stories I've ever heard. Story: On November 18, 1978, in a cleared out patch of Guyanese jungle, the Reverend Jim Jones ordered the 913 of his followers to drink Kool Aid laced with cyanide, and they did. There was one survivor. Many believe that Jonestown was the result of human mind control testing, genocide, and the appearance of our old friends the CIA, some even believed that Jonestown WAS the CIA, although that claim has been debunked as ridiculous. I myself believe that it was just the result of a madman and alot of willing followers, and thats all, no CIA. and no government involvement. Case Closed.
Beatles: Standing in the dock at Southampton Trying to get to Holland or France. The man in the mac said you've got to go back, You know they didn't even give us a chance. Christ! You know it ain't easy, You know how hard it can be. The way things are going, They're going to crucify me.
