Mission Impossible

Hey, guess what?
Something actually happened in my life.
Amazing right?
Two things actually.
The first is the bad news.
Here goes: My Grandma's Great Dane Lexi, who was one of my favorite animals of all time, died this week. Apparently she contracted a cancer, and there wasn't much more the vets could do about it, so they had to put her down.
I loved Lexi. She was just a really good dog. Very gentle, and very sweet, and you could always pet her and be close to her and she'd be close right back.
She was always a great animal, and I know that it won't be the same at my Grandma's without her.
I'll miss her.
The second bit of news is some stuff from school.
This week was our end of semester, and in my Artistry class, our teacher Genevieve had the bright idea that we should talk about the person to our left and how they've grown as 'both a person and an artist'.
...
Be with me.
So everything was going really well, I talked about Jordan Malm (like Ikea) and then came Bailey's turn to talk about me.
Bailey and I talk to each other and we're friendly to each other, but we don't know each other very well, because she came later in the semester.
So she talked about me, and it was nice, and very short.
Thats when Genevieve askes if anyone has anything to add.
My hand to God, every single person in the room raised their hand.
It was simultaneously lovely and tragic.
So Genevieve gets all flustered and is like "Oh...oh, okay uh...we'll just go in a circle".
And we did go in a circle.
And every single person in the room, even our viscious gay Spencer, is saying nice things about me.
"I love your independance"
"You're so funny"
"I thought you were weird at first, but now you're okay"
"I can't go through a day without your side comments"
Swear to God, all of the things I just mentioned were true.
It was...kinda weird.
But I loved it.
Because thats the way I am.
My goal has been reached.
Everyone in my track likes me.
Mission Impossible has just become possible.
Booyah.

Beatles: I'd rather see you dead, little girl, Than to be with another man. You'd better keep your head, little girl, Or I won't know where I am. You'd better run for your life if you can, little girl, Hide your head in the sand, little girl.

  1. congrats on becoming miss popular at school, Miss Terese! that's very cool. artists need fellow-artists to truly appreciate how awesome they are :)
