Finding my Breakfast on Pluto

This will probably be really short because I'm just typing until Ela gets here.
In local news, GuitarHero is over Sandy (so he says) an has now moved onto somebody in my inner circle, who I am now regretting introducing him to.
Our very own Paroxysm, Parox, P.O, Tino.
I didn't see it coming, because they're so different.
Parox is a prude, and GH is...uh, not. They're both geeks, which is GREAT for relationships.
But wait, there is no relationship, and there will BE no relationship. Because of 'commitment issues' on her part, and general silliness on his.
God love him though, the poor boys trying. Hes dropping hints like an Easter bunny on Easter Sunday.
I have finally gotten back in the habit of writing, I only have ten more pages left in my sketchbook, and am harvesting a writers cramp.
However, I haven't been sleeping very well lately because I usually do my exercise before bed. I can't do it in the morning, its too loud and I like sleep.
I can't do it in the afternoon because Buzz is here and hes asking me for something on a minute by minute basis.
So that leaves the night. And I am not a vampire, the night is not a good time for me.
The night is not good fr me, morning is not good for me, and the afternoon is not good for me...
I should just sleep all day.
I saw Inception, by the way.
I really liked it, Leo was good. And so was my bitch Cillian Murphy as Robert 'Walk like I have a stick up my ass' Fischer.
Because he did.
Saw the movie twice in fact, once with Parox, as part of our Cillian Murphy fest, and another time with GuitarHero, because he doesn't know who Murphy is, and I wanted to fix that.
Spaking of Murphy, I have a new favorite movie, and its called Breakfast on Pluto.
Its about Patrick 'Kitten' Braden, transevestite extraordinaire from Ireland in the 70's. She goes to London searching for her mother, and there has many marvelous adventures.
I recomend it.
Gotta go, Elas here.

The Marilyn Itch Part II: My Week with Marilyn

Huloo again, and welcome to the second installment of my Marilyn posts.
Today's theme is the 2011 movie My Week with Marilyn, to be directed by Simon Curtis. It based off a diary written by Colin Clark, the third assistant director for for the Marilyn Monroe-Laurence Olivier film The Prince and the Showgirl. His unofficial role was to keep Marilyn out of Olivier's way.
The diary has already been published, but all the details of one week were missing, and the missing week will become the frame for the film.
Although both Scarlett Johansson (=D) and Amy Adams(D=) were considered for the role, it eventually went to the star of Brokeback mountain, Michelle Williams (=o).
The question of authenticity in this film can be questioned, because of the lack of details pertaining to the events in the book the film is based on.
Hopefully it will be more historically accurate than the Naomi Watts film Blonde promises to be.
As for the question of whether Michelle looks the part, there is still cause for concern.
Michelle is, like Naomi, quite thin, and luckily blond, but there is a slight complication with her eyes, which are a light brown. And she is a little more full cheeked than Marilyn.
Her triumph, however, is that she can act. And the director has said that it will not be an impersonation of Marilyn, but rather an idea of her actions behind the camera.
Michelle:

Marilyn:

So, as you see, there are some differences between them.
Will the film succeed?
Will life itself succeed?
Do we have any more macaroni and cheese?
Stay tuned.

The Marilyn Itch Part I: Blonde

Well dearies, it seems that Hollywood has reached its senses.
I have been hoping for a Marilyn Monroe biopic for a long time, and just today I find out that there are not one, but TWO Marilyn movies in the works.
Well, chocolate frogs.
I decided to talk about them both, because they both seem interesting and chances are that you, dear reader, have not heard of either.
So I'll start off with the one that I heard of first, which is Blonde, which will supposedly star Naomi Watts (IMDB confirms) of the movie King Kong.
This movie is set to start filming in January of 2011, and is based off of the Joyce Carol Oates book of the same title, and will follow the start of Norma Jeane Baker to Marilyn Monroe.
The book is controversial, as many view it to be VERY historically inaccurate. For example, in one scene of the book, Marilyn has sex with President Kennedy while he is on the phone with Fidel Castro, and why Kennedy had Castro on speed dial to begin with, America will (hopefully) never know.
Blonde will be directed by Andrew Dominik, a director I have never heard of in my entire life, so I won't dwell on him too much.
This is not the first time that Blonde has been made.
It was originally made in 2001 as a TV movie that starred Poppy Montgomery as Marilyn, but did not gain much recognition.
Naomi Watts herself is no dead runner for Marilyn. She is blond, which is crucial when you depict the most famous blond in history, but she is very thin and almost other worldly. When you see Marilyn, she is very blond and curvaceous and she looks like a real old Hollywood girl.
When you compare the two they look nothing alike:
Naomi:http://www.curly-hair-styles-magazine.com/image-files/medium-celeb-hair-05.jpg
Marilyn: http://www.starstore.com/acatalog/monroe-black.jpg
They have similar qualities, but Watts doesn't have the LOOK of Marilyn.
Needless, I will be seeing this movie when it comes out and hope that Naomi has what it takes to portray a very complicated woman.
Tomorrow I'll most likely talk about the other Marilyn movie in the works.
Bye.

The Wrath of CON

Its been a while. Much has happened.
I'll start from the beginning.
My dad has moved to Wisconsin to pursue his career as Union minion in the carpentry trade, so now its just my mom and I now.
Next, I've been at CONvergence 2010 for the last few days, shall I explain? Yes I shall.
CONvergence is a geek convention, and this year was the Bad Guys year, so Parox wanted me to go, so I did.
Here's what happened:
Thursday= Got up, got ready and we left at about 2:00. When we got there we had to wait in a long annoying line to get my badge because we made a transfer from someone else to me. After that Parox and i went to get our faces painted by a friend of Parox's mom. Afterwards we met up with a girl named Alynna and schlepped our way to the dealers room. No, its not drugs they deal, its just stuff.
And there I bought a set of Tarot cards with Botticelli artwork and a Marilyn Monroe poster (hung on the back of my door). Then we went and got food from the CONsuite and walked around for a while. After a while we decided to go in the pool, so we stripped down and got inthe hot tub.
Aaaaaaaaaah....
Felt good. then we went back to Alynnas room in search of more food, and there we found her little sister, and a flat screen T.V that broad casted events from the CON itself. So, to save us the trouble of getting awful seats for opening ceremonies, we stayed in the room and watched it on the T.V.
Then we went to the Teen Meet Up, where I found my friend Riddles, and made some new friends named Ninja and Rabbi. And after, we got MORE food, and then threw back a few smoothie shots at the Space lounge, and then we got great seats for the Dr. Horrible Sing-Along (one row in front of us was both the Joker and Dr. Horrible). We sang along to every single song...
Then we left.
Friday= Got up at 9:30, and once there we went to the dealers room again, where I got an Audrey Hepburn poster (keeps falling off my wall) and then we went to go see when Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince started at Cinema Rex (geekazoid movie theater). We were early so we did what any teenager would do.
Sat down in the kids room and colored.
Then, when the movie finally DID start, we were screwed out of our seats by Jubbler (Parox's ex) who NEEDED to speak to her immediately or he would surely melt and die.
They were outside awkwardly talking for 15 minutes so I went in. And by the time Parox came in, I was already frustrated, so I left.
Luckily for me, Riddles, Ninja, and Rabbi were outside the door. We went and browsed artwork from the silent auction (lots of dragons, but I liked the Anime influence), and after that we wanted to play a game, so we ran to the game room and played Operation, where I lost. Then we played Uno, and I lost. And somewhere in there, Harry Potter ended, so Parox walked in and joined us. We played another round of Uno, a few games of President, and Go Fish.
At that time, we were feeling dry, so we went to the pool, and had a furious water battle for Independence from the British. Soon, Parox and I had to leave to get seats for the Shining.
We got a couch this time. And the guy sitting next to us was hilarious. After that we made it to the Teen Meet Up, which was quiet at first, then for some reason, a game of tag ensued.
But this was no ordinary tag. This was evil, satanic, slapping, red-marks-on-the-arm, tag.
So I maturely hid under a table until the hour was over. After that we went to the Space Lounge, had some Con Shots, and watched the Cabaret.
Then we left.
Saturday= Got up early, had breakfast, and watched and episode of Man V. Food. When we got there, we (once again) went to the dealers room, where I bought a Clockwork Orange poster (don't know where to put it). Then we went to see the Wizard of Oz in Cinema Rex. I haven't seen it in such a long time so it was really fun to watch again.
Then Parox had a shift to do in the green place thing, so I looked at the huge schedule, and nothing was really happening, so I went back to Cinema Rex and watched the last bit of Superman II, then saw the Emily Hagins shorts, which were very good.
But there I made a cataclysmic decision.
I had Skittles AND Mike Ike's in the same sitting.
Which is a lot of sugar, and I have a very sensitive back tooth, so I immediately got a severe toothache.
And it HURT. Not just hurt, but it was aching, throbbing, and generally pulsating with pain.
I didn't know where to go next, so I wandered to the pool. And then I started getting a headache because I was thinking about it too much.
I tried to read a bit of Sybil, and then Parox found me. By that point, I was so ready to go home it was ridiculous. I needed to be in a place where I had easy access to Asprin.
So I called my mom, and she called my sister, which I was not thrilled about because I hate bothering her.
So she got me and that was my last day at CONvergence, because I'm missing the closing ceremonies tomorrow to go to my Aunt Marys Fourth of July party.
I had a lot of fun, but in the end, I had too much sugar, and had to miss Se7en AND Silence of the Lambs at Cinema Rex, which I'm unhappy about...
Now I'm mourning the loss of the Allen and Craig show, as it only has one more episode until the series finale.
R.I.P Allen Murphy and Craig Deering
You will be sorely missed

Johnny Guitar

You guyssss, I changed my format again.
And this time, I wasn't even trying to.
It hypnotized me with its pinkness and its charisma.
It was like Zac Efron, to sat the least.
There really isn't much going on, except for waiting to go on vacation, which isn't very exciting cuz its still weeks away, and my friends are so far here, but are releasing no physical or emotional reaction to my rotting insides...
All that's really happened is I dyed my hair again, so I'm now really blond.
I've basically just been listening to music for weeks, which works fine for me, but no so much everyone else on the block.
I tend to blast things that are already loud to begin with, like Johnny Guitar, or Dead End Justice. Both really good songs, but very loud.
I'm also trying to get a job at the moment, which is problematic because I still have a month before I'm sixteen.
I don't really want to do anything for my birthday though, I've already had 15 birthdays, I think I know whats going to happen by now, you cannot do anything that has not already been done. You can throw confetti and pop out of a cake all day,I don't think you'll get much of a reaction.
I just want to BE sixteen, I don't need a big ceremony for it, I just want the number.
I want to run on the treadmill now, so I'll most likely not be back.
Seeya later.

Summer Dreams (Ripped at the seams)

We stand at the brink of the abyss my children.
In just a few days school shall be over, and I will have 3 months to wile away the hours and confer with the flowers.
Maybe even consult with the rain, but probably not.
I have absolutely no idea what to do this summer, except watch Noah, which I'm most likely not going to be paid for.
I want to be with my friends, but I have a feeling they're going to be more preoccupied than usual.
I don't know where to get a job, if I can even get one.
There are plenty of places, but there are a lot of other things to think about.
Hours, pay...
I'm talking with Ela right now.
She was up in the boundary waters with Lotus all weekend, and Facebook confirms that she had fun.
The only problem with Ela is that after you hang out for a while she feels that she needs to stay away for a while so as not to put strain on the friendship.
Weird people.
I took my first real allergy pill this weekend.
Knocked me out for 15 hours straight, and I woke up feeling great.
I hate it when you get the summer cold, its so gross...
Then the next day I went to Highland and hung out with Parox, ate Leeann Chin (not real Chinese food, but still good)and spent an hour walking around Patina.
Then we went back to my house and I made her watch the Notebook, and she didn't understand why everyone crys.
The next day, nothing really happened.
Today, I baked a cake and ran on the treadmill, all the while thinking of the story I'm writing for Lotus's party.
For our next Pod Party (the Pod is our group) our 'Diplomats' have decided that we should all write stories to read aloud at the party.
Sigh...
As I have mentioned before, I DO NOT want to work to go to a party.
It puts on strain.
But I'm doing it anyway.
I'll do it right now.
Bye.

Beatles: It's getting better all the time,I used to get mad at my school (No, I can't complain)The teachers who taught me weren't cool( No, I can't complain)You're holding me down (Oh Oh)Turning me round(Oh Oh)Filling me up with your rules(Oooh)

Hi Ho

Well, it is a day of mourning my children.
My old self has gone...
And the new technology crazed '2001 a Space Odyssey' me has arrived.
I now have, regrettably, a facebook.
I'm not proud of it.
I don't know how it happened. My Mom signed into her account to show me something and it just happened...
Only I have no camera, so I don't, in hindsight, seethe point of having one.
Besides having a new way to talk to my friends a little faster.
Like how I've been talking to Enigma for an hour now.
And school is not helping with all my stress. I have yet more finals to take this week, and a dress for finale to find, which will be an odyssey in itself.
I like to go shopping, but it does shit for my self confidence. I'll walk in and be ready for a nice fun trip to the store, then, out of the blue, I'll have gone up a few sizes and catch a glimpse of my butt in a mirror; subsequently causing me to burst out into tears on the car ride back.
Yeah.
Luckily, Finale should work out because Parox can most likely come with and guard me against the wave of bullshit that will most likely flood the place, as the Se7en Dwarfs shall be present.
I really CANNOT stand them, they're really like the girls from Mean Girls only worse because they're real.
So its best if she doesn't know.
I think D is going, and MADi (its like MADtv...get it?) and I know GuitarHero and Ravyn are going together, so it should hopefully be a good environment.
I've decided we won't go to the dinner, because if we do it'll cost $40 each, but if we just go to the dance it will only be $25 each, which is way better, don't you think?
I think.
I'm also out.
Seeya.

Beatles: I love you, 'cause you tell me things I want to know. And its true that it only goes to show, that I know, that I should never ever ever be blue.
