The Morning After

Well, here we are my friends.
With either our assorted hangovers, our need for more sleep, or just needing some deep fried pancakes made by Paula Dean.
That poor woman can never cook a Ham again....
That's beside the point.
I will have you know that I'm sitting here typing this in my Christmas present.
Yeah folks.
I have received a Snuggie.
And they are not as ridiculous as they first appear.
.....They're actually really warm.
I can sit in my basement without socks on now!
At least, more so than I did before.
Christmas this year was the best Christmas ever, I half expected SpongeBob to jump out of nowhere and start singing 'The Best Day Ever'.
Christmas Eve went really well. Besides it being really friggin hot in that house, and my obnoxious cousins bouncing off the walls, distributing physical abuse, and shooting marshmallows at people with a Marshmallow gun my Uncle made.
That part sucked.
Then they left and it was all good again.
My Aunt Mary brought out this game called SmartAss, which we played for a good two and a half hours.
By then it was 10:00, so we left. The Parents went to bed so my Brother and I watched A Christmas Story together, but we suffered a Crash from all the sugar we had so we went to bed.
The Next morning, I got up and we opened our presents (Snuggie) and then we had Eggbake, which I never like, but apparently Christmas makes everything taste good.
After that we played a bunch of games. Such as the Rock Em Sock Em robots that Buzz received, and Taboo, the gift that my Mom bought, put in my hands and said 'Wrap it because you're giving it to me'.
Okaay.
Then we had Dinner/Lunch/Dinch/Lunner, which was also delicious (Green Bean Casseroooole).
My Brother had to leave then, which bummed us out, so my Dad and Stace watched The Hangover, and my Sister consoled herself with the Pino Grigio.
But it all turned out alright, because we played Sorry and had a grand old time. Afterward, my mom and Buzz made a Snowman and we had Pie (Dutch. Apple).
After another rousing game of Taboo which my Dad and I dominated, my Sister, Stace, and Buzz left, and I watched Snow White.
The Parents then went to bed, and I watched Ghost Adventures until I fell asleep in the Chair, resulting in back pain and me waking up at 2:19 that morning, and clumsily making my way up to my room where I proceeded to pass out on the bed.
Slept great though.
Good Christmas.
And more importantly, good morning to wake up to.
The sun was shining.
I half expected The Beatles to jump out and start singing 'Dear Prudence'.

Beatles: A taste of honey... tasting much sweeter than wine. I dream of your first kiss, and then, I feel upon my lips again, A taste of honey... tasting much sweeter than wine.
