Okay God, this one was personal.
According to Yahoo, whose information I have always trusted, there has been another death in the gilded cage that is Hollywood.
Brittany Murphy died at 32 yesterday after going into cardiac arrest.
That was a LOW low...
I'm still in shock.
This was even more shocking to me than when Micheal Jackson died, yet I didn't cry like I did when Patrick Swayze died.
I guess when the shock completely wears off it'll come.
But still, she was 32 friggin years old.
She was talented, beautiful, and a good person, and that is not something you find every day.
She starred in one of my favorite movies, Uptown Girls.
In that movie she played Molly, a role which always vaguely reminded me of my older sister, and so in every movie I saw her in afterwards I always thought of her that way.
In a way, she was every ones big sister, in whatever role she played.
I'll always see her as Molly.
And I'll miss her.
And in light of the Christmas season, I send condolences to her family.
But I'm slacking now, when I'm supposed to be working on my papers, so I'll go.
R.I.P Brittany.
You will be missed.

Beatles: Oh yeah alright, are you gonna be in my dreams tonight? And in the end the love you take is equal to the love you make. Ah รข€“
Yeah, I was totally shocked too! But not at how she died. I could tell she was into some things and cardiac arrest is a very common death among drug users. I loved her in Uptown Girls. She was one of my favourite actresses and its sad that she died at such a young age. RIP Brittany
ReplyDeleteI love the title "Molly Smiles". Great movie. She will be missed and thank you for remembering her in your blog.
