Tales from Wonderland

Well, it seems like I haven't posted in a while, but I've been busy and sleeping a lot more than usual, so that must have been a contributing factor.
So last Friday I went to the premier of Alice in Wonderland, featuring the gorgeous Johnny Depp, the beautiful Mia Wasikowska, the crazy Helena Bonham Carter, and the very white Anne Hathaway.
I went with Ravyn, Panda, GuitarHero, Dopey, and Fissy.
4 of those five went in costume, while Dopey and I stayed defiantly in our normal clothes.
Which in hindsight, was not a good idea.
Because at the movies I always have to get Buncha Crunch, its all I care about. And I made that mistake, because I love chocolate, and chocolate loves to crap all over my clothes.
So I went into the theatre all clean, then I left looking like someone had crapped and spread it all over my clothes.
The worst part?
Wasn't my shirt.
It was my sisters.
Screwed much?
You'd be correct.
But we saw the movie, and it was really great on that night, then the next day I found I really didn't like it that much.
There was a lot of special effects and great costumes and acting, but there was something missing, which I still can't quite place.
Its like a really nice looking dessert, but when you finally eat it, it tastes really bland and colorless.
I still like it though, just not love it.
NOW.
Onto the biggest night in my year!
The Oscars.
I was happy to say the least, that Avatar didn't win best picture.
And its not because of the Flashy Special effects or because its a James Cameron movie, I just don't like movies that get all the hype and are just expected to win a lot of awards, it annoys me.

I was glad that Kathryn Bigelow won for Best Director, first female recipient.
Very good.
Ben Stiller was very funny, everyone was. I kinda wanted Clooney to win Best Actor, but I'll get over it.
Everything else was fine, I wanted Meryl Streep for Best Actress so badly though...
I will NOT get over that.

Beatles: You'll never know how much I really love you, You'll never know how much I really care, Listen, do you want to know a secret, Do you promise not to tel, Whoa . . . . . Closer let me whisper in your ear, Say the words you long to hear, I'm in love with you, oo . . . . .
