Ladies and Jellybeans, we've been cleared for takeoff.
We'll arrive at the end of Spring Break in exactly one week.
There's nothing scheduled yet, but I'm thinking of going to a play that has some people I know in it tomorrow night.
Hopefully Parox can come but I keep forgetting that she never answers texts and her phone can't pick up calls....
Its all quite tragic really.
But I plow on.
Last night after I had realized my craving for tea, I realized I really DID need to find something interesting to watch.
And that's how I found my temporary favorite show (Psych is on break).
This show is the United States of Tara.
Its like Sybil, minus 13 personalities.
Its wonderful, I can now understand how Toni Collette won those awards, she's wonderful, and I insist you sit in front of your T.V and wait for it to come on.
I don't care how long it takes.
Just do it.
Now I've lost my train of thought because I've been sitting her watching Edgeplay for 22 minutes...
Good movies so far.
Seeya later.

Wait Until Dark
Well, these have just been the two days outta hell...
Yesterday wasn't actually that bad, until I got home.
We had boring classes, but our teacher Mr. Deranged-y called me smarter than our old friend Sandy, which brightened my spirits increasingly. Afterwards we had the most boring day of Algebra in history, because all we did was go over our work.
After we had Biology, where we watched an episode of the amazing Meercat Manor.
Which everyone liked weirdly...
Then I come home and start work on my two projects, which was an Our Town image book (make our own production of Our Town) and the Rough Draft of my Swiss Reformation project.
It was all going swimmingly.
Our Town was finished up, and two hours after that Swiss Reform was finished. I was happy until I went into my email and tried to email my report to myself.
And that was when the fit hit the shan.
Because for whatever reason, everything I wrote was gone.
Well, crap.
Needless to say, I had a complete mental breakdown.
I stayed up a few extra hours doing Algebra and having insomnia, and so in the morning I didn't feel good at all.
I was overly tired and I was still depressed from the breakdown and my fear of going into class without the paper.
And that brings us to this morning.
I didn't go to school, and instead I stayed home and re-wrote my paper, got caught up on my World History notes, and tried to find some monologues for juries in a few months.
I went on a walk with my dad and wore green (St. Patrick's Day) and enjoyed the nice weather.
Then Dad went out and I went to the park for a while, and by the time I got back Mom was home.
A few hours later I was downstairs watching Wait Until Dark, which is an Audrey Hepburn movie that I've wanted to see for quite a while.
Now I'm done, and I'm going to see the end of this movie.
Bye.

Tales from Wonderland
Well, it seems like I haven't posted in a while, but I've been busy and sleeping a lot more than usual, so that must have been a contributing factor.
So last Friday I went to the premier of Alice in Wonderland, featuring the gorgeous Johnny Depp, the beautiful Mia Wasikowska, the crazy Helena Bonham Carter, and the very white Anne Hathaway.
I went with Ravyn, Panda, GuitarHero, Dopey, and Fissy.
4 of those five went in costume, while Dopey and I stayed defiantly in our normal clothes.
Which in hindsight, was not a good idea.
Because at the movies I always have to get Buncha Crunch, its all I care about. And I made that mistake, because I love chocolate, and chocolate loves to crap all over my clothes.
So I went into the theatre all clean, then I left looking like someone had crapped and spread it all over my clothes.
The worst part?
Wasn't my shirt.
It was my sisters.
Screwed much?
You'd be correct.
But we saw the movie, and it was really great on that night, then the next day I found I really didn't like it that much.
There was a lot of special effects and great costumes and acting, but there was something missing, which I still can't quite place.
Its like a really nice looking dessert, but when you finally eat it, it tastes really bland and colorless.
I still like it though, just not love it.
NOW.
Onto the biggest night in my year!
The Oscars.
I was happy to say the least, that Avatar didn't win best picture.
And its not because of the Flashy Special effects or because its a James Cameron movie, I just don't like movies that get all the hype and are just expected to win a lot of awards, it annoys me.
I was glad that Kathryn Bigelow won for Best Director, first female recipient.
Very good.
Ben Stiller was very funny, everyone was. I kinda wanted Clooney to win Best Actor, but I'll get over it.
Everything else was fine, I wanted Meryl Streep for Best Actress so badly though...
I will NOT get over that.
Beatles: You'll never know how much I really love you, You'll never know how much I really care, Listen, do you want to know a secret, Do you promise not to tel, Whoa . . . . . Closer let me whisper in your ear, Say the words you long to hear, I'm in love with you, oo . . . . .

The Panda Dance
Well, my minions, unless you are either grotesquely unintelligent or do not live in this country, you will be aware of the fact that yesterday was Sunday.
And here was my Day:
I made cupcakes.
Original, I know.
Just call me Julia.
They were Carrot cake with Cream cheese frosting. I made twenty-four, and today at exactly 5:00, they are all gone.
Yeah, that's right. I am Rachel, Julia, Gordon, Martha, and....everyone.
Then I packed some up and went over to Panda's house, with GuitarHero in tow.
There, it was full on American Psycho invasion.
For those of you unfortunate enough to not know what American Psycho is, here's a quick summary:
Patrick Bateman is American, and he's a psycho. He kills people with an axe in the face.
And that's about it.
Oh, he's a yuppie too.
Some people will tell you to read the book, or even, to see the movie.
Listen to me very carefully right now.
Are you listening?
Okay.
DON'T DO THIS
No bull crap, you don't wanna know what this guy did.
There are rats, and chainsaws, and axes, and I don't wish that book on anyone.
Because I'm pretty sure it would be Ted Bundy's favorite book.
Anyways, we watched it. Laughed at Luis, cowered from Patrick, and rolled our eyes at Evelyn.
Then, because I had the book on me, we read the Luis and Patrick sections, very dramatically and over theatrically.
Afterwards, we tormented people on the Internet, and discussed why so many people hate Abba.
Then we had Penne pasta and bread for dinner, with rhubarb bars as a dessert.
It was a playful but mysterious little dish...
Not really, but still yummy.
Then GuitarHero's mom picked us up and we got lost in Spanish land.
We quickly regained our composure and I was dropped off at my house, where I watched Desperate Housewives before going to bed.
Because I can.
Oh, and on Friday Ela and Parox came over for American Psycho-ness.
Ela liked it, but I believe Parox was disturbed by the image of Christian Bale running down the hall of a swanky apartment building, wearing nothing but white tennis shoes, wielding a chainsaw and covered in blood.
I thought it was kinda funny.
But only because its HIM.
Christian Bale being Christian Bale.
