Wow, words really ARE flowing out like endless rain...
I'm thinking about lots of random things lately.
So here are the important ones.
Random thought Numero Uno:
Why do all parents have the urge to think that their kids never mean anything about the problems their kids come to them with? This comes from the fact that over last week we were up at the lake, and I'd been preparing myself all week to ask my mom for a therapist.
On the second to last night there I finally asked her.
A flat out No.
Why can't she realize that I NEED to talk to someone? Someone I don't KNOW. I just feel so awful sometimes, but the one time I ask for help, she won't give it to me.
Random thought Numero Deux:
I don't understand how Paroxysm can feel so empathetically about her grandpa, who died of liver disease before she was born, who she never even knew, while I haven't shed a tear over any of my dead family members.
Maybe she just has more feeling than me, which isn't surprising, cuz if you hold a glass of water next to my heart, it'll freeze. But either way, maybe its just my previous feelings of bitterness over death in general, but it almsot bothers me that she can feel so close to someone she didn't know, while I'm distant to people I try to be close to.
Random thought Numero Toi:
Joanna Newsom rocks.
I don't know why I like her so much, but her voice has a nice quality to it, kinda easy to follow.
I especially like 'The Sprout and the Bean', not only because it was in 'The Strangers', but because of the eerie but beautiful qualty of her voice and the lyrics.
Those were the important ones, maybe there'll be more, wait and see.
Beatles:She's not a girl who misses much. Oh yeah, she's well acquainted with the touch of the velvet hand, like a lizard on a window pane. The man in the crown with the multi coloured mirrors and his hobtail boots. Lyin with his eyes, while his hands are busy working overtime, a soap impression of his wife which he ate and donated to the national trust...
